THE STORY
The engine behind the greeting card fundraising idea is to expand the work of the Fabulous Friends Club. Not only does your organization benefit, but a worthy cause benefits too.
The Fabulous Friends Club is the brainchild of a then 10-year-old boy who enlisted his two brothers to develop a school backpack program that provides needy students with food on weekends.
Since 2012, the Club has provided hundreds of students with nutritious meals each weekend during the school year. We currently provide meals to almost 800 students each week.
In July of 2018, we partnered with Second Harvest Heartland and the St. Paul JCC to launch a fresh produce distribution program which served over 1,200 people at each distribution. We will continue the program in 2019.
